As we turn the calendar to 2025, we want to reflect on Raby Construction’s achievements in 2024. Our commitment to the community and mission has driven many of our accomplishments.
This year, we proudly volunteered and donated to several organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Homes for Hope, Project Host, Christmas Shoes, Shoot Out Cancer, and the Boy Scouts of America Blue Ridge Council. Supporting our community is a core value, and we are honored to contribute.
We also ramped up our efforts to share our work through enhanced photo and video coverage of our projects underway. There’s nothing like watching concrete pours, demolition projects, and powerful construction machinery. We want everyone to see what our team is doing in the field.
Our concrete division saw significant growth, and we doubled our in-house capabilities. Additionally, we launched a new community-focused section and careers page on our website, making it easier for potential team members to find us and join our mission.
This year, our team added five new members, strengthening our sales, project management, estimating, accounting, and concrete specialty teams. We also celebrated Cesar’s promotion to VP of Construction Operations, highlighting our commitment to recognizing talent within our ranks.
Throughout the year, we completed or worked on over twenty projects in the Upstate of South Carolina. Team bonding was also important to us. We enjoyed fishing trips, hunting excursions, and our annual company Christmas party.
We refined our messaging to ensure clients understand the benefits of partnering with Raby. Our in-house services, engineering expertise, and straightforward approach help us meet deadlines and budgets.
On Veterans Day, we honored our two veterans on the team. One of them made a significant “change” by cutting his hair and donating it to support an organization providing wigs to those in need.
In addition, we attended the book launch of a long-time client and friend, who shared his inspirational journey through cancer and competitive dragon boat racing with fellow survivors. You can read more about the story or buy his book here if interested.
We also explored updating our logo this year but ultimately decided that we love our current design just as it is! Of course, we took the time to capture the essence of our work by taking 12,234 photos of Dozer, our beloved mascot and the most handsome VP we could ask for.
We are preparing to celebrate our 30th year in business–the milestone year 2026 is just around the corner!
At Raby, the core values of Trust, Commitment, and Excellence are at the center of everything. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We look forward to what 2025 will bring.
